About the project

The P2T-Community project addresses, on the one hand, parents of primary school children with a migration background, who are to be more strongly involved in everyday school life, and, on the other hand, teachers who wish to strengthen their intercultural competence.

Objectives

  • Stronger involvement of parents with a migration background in everyday school life
  • Strengthening the intercultural competence of teachers
  • Establishing a cross-border online Community of Practice (CoP) for school professionals

Activities

  • Informal language training and education for parents with a migration background on relevant school-related topics
  • Preparation of a report highlighting needs and best practices in the different countries
  • Workshops for teachers who wish to develop and strengthen their intercultural competence
