About the project
The project focuses on the development of a method based on the Montessori approach for young, non-employed NEET women. This method aims not only to strengthen their vocational dimension, but also to foster basic social and personal competences, such as managing personal relationships and dealing with emotions.
The combination of the social and vocational dimensions is part of a unique personal development concept, built on the development of the social skills required for proactive action.
Objectives
- WP2: Studies and guidelines on the Montessori method and its pedagogical priorities
- Curriculum “Montessori for Young Women in Europe”
- Mentoring programme “Improving vocational skills through the Montessori method for adults”, focusing on basic social and personal skills, personal relationships and managing the emotional dimension
Activities
- Curriculum for youth workers (TG2)
- Mentoring programme for non-employed young NEET women (TG1)
- Case studies, collection of good practices, literature review and research
- Development of a set of KPIs and competences
- Creation of a platform providing educational resources, including multimedia open resources and interactive tools
