About the project

The project “Teach2Learn” aims to support teachers, parents and pupils with a migration background through the use of innovative methods, interactive resources and pedagogical tools. The main focus is on improving reading comprehension as well as the processes of learning and teaching reading skills.

Objectives

  • To equip teachers, parents and pupils with minority, migrant or refugee backgrounds with innovative methods, interactive resources and pedagogical tools based on gamification for teaching and learning reading comprehension skills in the official language of the country.
  • To improve the quality of learning and enhance access to affordable and high-quality early primary education.

Activities

  • Development of an assessment tool to identify the training needs of teachers.
  • Design of a training programme that equips 2nd to 4th grade pupils with skills to support reading comprehension.
  • Development of an interactive platform with practical and user-friendly resources involving teachers, parents and pupils.
  • Creation of a video database demonstrating the practical use of the project resources.
