About the project

Educational activities for young people require both a technological shift in order to handle the use of digital technologies and the development of specific competences and skills to benefit from these technologies. The overall objective of the project is to broaden young people’s knowledge by translating developments in the field of digital and immersive media into practice through a systematic and methodical strategic plan.

Objectives

Training courses will be organised for young people to cope with technological change, master the use of digital technologies and benefit from them, while developing relevant competences and skills. In order to create a common understanding and shared terminology for the new concepts emerging from the digital transformation in the broadcasting sector, a “dictionary of technical concepts” will be developed and published in digital environments.

Activities

It is expected that a pool of professionals will be established via the project website and in the partner countries, enabling training-of-trainers activities. In cooperation with the participants, productions created with new technologies and the concrete outputs of the technical dictionary, which will include new definitions of digital publishing, are expected to be published.
