About the project
CARE is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in School Education (KA220-SCH) that aims to strengthen academic development and student resilience by supporting teachers in delivering more inclusive and engaging learning.
The project brings together an education authority, universities, schools and an educational organisation from Türkiye, Austria, Czechia and Italy. Teachers are the primary target group. Four structured support packages, referred to as PDP sets, will help them respond to low motivation, learning gaps, fear of failure and learning anxiety, as well as difficulties with belonging and attendance.
CARE combines teacher development with the safe, pedagogically meaningful use of artificial intelligence and stronger cooperation between schools and parents. The materials will be tested in two partner schools and further reviewed through peer learning during a student mobility in Prague.
The project aims to strengthen teachers’ capacity to identify support needs early and respond systematically, while supporting students’ engagement, wellbeing and achievement and reducing the risks of absenteeism and early school leaving.
Objectives
CARE aims to:
- Strengthen teachers’ capacity to deliver inclusive, engaging learning and identify students’ support needs at an early stage.
- Develop structured support packages addressing low motivation, learning gaps, fear of failure, learning anxiety and difficulties with belonging and attendance.
- Promote the safe and pedagogically meaningful use of artificial intelligence in classroom practice.
Strengthen cooperation between schools and parents to support students’ engagement, wellbeing and academic achievement. - Support students’ sense of belonging and attendance, contributing to the prevention of absenteeism and early school leaving.
- Develop pilot-tested resources and practical recommendations to support implementation in school education.
Activities
Throughout the two-year project, the consortium will implement the following activities:
- Conduct a needs analysis and develop a shared PDP Framework.
- Co-develop four PDP sets and a teacher module to support structured classroom practice.
- Prepare an AI Tools Guideline linked to the PDP steps, including classroom scenarios and safety rules.
- Monitor progress and quality through online collaboration and transnational project meetings.
Pilot the materials in both partner schools and collect evidence to inform their further development. - Organise a four-day student mobility in Prague for peer learning and comparison of pilot experiences across the two school contexts.
- Revise and finalise the materials based on the pilot findings and prepare a quality and improvement report.
- Publish policy recommendations and an implementation roadmap to support the uptake of the project approach.
- Publish one scientific article and deliver two conference presentations to share the project findings.
